How It Works
1. Start Your Assignment
Once you have secured your contract, your recruitment agency or end client provides the relevant assignment details.
2. Join MY Pay PAYE
You complete the necessary employment and onboarding information so we can set up your umbrella payroll.
3. Submit Your Timesheet
Once your hours or days have been approved, your timesheet is submitted for processing.
4. We Process Your Payroll
We calculate your pay and make the appropriate deductions through PAYE.
5. Receive Your Pay and Payslip
Your net salary is paid to your nominated bank account, and you receive a payslip showing your earnings and deductions.

Umbrella Payroll and IR35
IR35 is legislation designed to determine whether certain contractors should be treated as employees for tax purposes.
The rules surrounding IR35 can be complex, and the appropriate arrangements depend on the specific circumstances of an assignment.
Where an assignment is determined to fall inside IR35, an umbrella company can provide a PAYE employment structure through which the contractor’s earnings are processed.
MY Pay PAYE can manage the payroll administration associated with your umbrella employment.
Important: The IR35 status of an assignment is determined according to the relevant legislation and the circumstances of the engagement. MY Pay PAYE does not automatically determine the IR35 status of an assignment.
